This breathtaking architect-designed home is designed to maximise the glorious views of the ocean and golden sands of Camber beach, the rare sand dunes, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the ever changing weather.

The bold use of floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the house with light and, when the tide is in, the view from the first floor living/dining area turns the ocean into a wonderful infinity pool. When the tide is out, there are panoramic views of miles of golden sandy beach.The horizon is always apparent, holding a movement of sky, sea and sand- a truly amazing experience.

Ground floor:

The main entrance leads into a hallway, with amazing views straight through the games room to the beach and sea. The games room is to the rear of the house with 46” flat screen LCD TV with Sky satellite channels, Wi console and spectacular bi-fold sliding doors that lead onto the decked terrace directly overlooking the beach with outside seating. There is a spiral staircase that leads from the downstairs deck to the up-stairs terrace.

There are three double bedrooms, one with a ensuite bathroom and 5 foot king size bed, one with an ensuite shower room and a 6 foot super king bed and one has a “ Jack & Jill lay-out” to double as downstairs loo and shower room, with twin 3 foot beds. Two of the bedrooms are sea-facing, one with its own sliding doors onto a terrace, with the other room overlooking fields to the rear. There is a utility room containing a washing machine tumble drier and central vacuum.

First floor:

A spiral staircase leads up to the first floor to a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, living area. The kitchen is state-of-the-art, with Miele appliances, (2 electric cookers, hob, microwave, and dishwasher), magimix coffee maker and American fridge/freezer.The dining area with large oak table has seating for 10.

The lounge with frameless floor to ceiling glazing to maximise the views of the beach, sea and views looking towards Fairlight Cove cliffs and the Rother estuary. A feature of the lounge is a large Bodart & Gonay contemporary log burning stove which is perfect for those cooler autumn and winter breaks. There is another 46” flat screen LCD TV with DVD player and Sky satellite channels, and IPOD Dock/CD player/radio.

There are sliding doors leading from the dining area onto the V-shaped 1st floor terrace with outdoor seating and spiral staircase down to lower deck and garden.

There is a Master bedroom suite with 6 foot super-king bed, dressing room , IPOD Dock/CD player/radio and en-suite bath room with over-sized bath and window looking out to sea.

NOTE-There is a second floor study/terrace which is not available for use by tenants.

There is a built-in sunken seating area next to the beach with firepit/BBQ, shower and decked boardwalk onto the beach.

To the front of the property there is a gravelled driveway with parking for 2/3 cars.

This property is happy to welcome one dog by prior arrangement (£20 fee per week).

The house has an open tread spiral staircase and large heavy glazed doors, which could be a safety hazard for small children. So if you would like to bring small children, we would ask you to sign a disclaimer when booking.

Sea Gem is available for film, tv and photo shoots and may be hired for location work in half or full days.

Hire rates vary dependent on the length of shoot required and the time of year. Prices for shoots were raised to Editorial £900.00 a day, stills £1,200.00 and filming starting at £1,500.00.
